If you fail to catch him or the flute doesn't change the Pokemon (it's consumed on use), don't worry, the quest line is repeatable!

Today I had at least 7 Pokemon flee from me, several of them after 5+ Pokeballs had been wasted. Like just automatically take out half my Pokeballs and don't bother with the Pokemon spawning if you're gonna pull that poo poo game Also I hatched 3 gifted eggs in a row. All of them Alolan Grimer  I am good on Grimers game, my cup runneth over with Grimers

So since IVs are apparently not nearly as important in GO (I'm not sure if the stars relate to the IVs or if they are also a seperate thing) and combat power generally seems to be more important, between these two it'd probably better to go with the non-3 star one? I think someone here mentioned it was really only edge cases where a player would want the IVs over the CP:  I know this stuff isn't that big of a deal in PoGo but I like having buff bois
