They're gonna be full GC at the tour, right? Can't see them fitting a sprint train in. Would be fun to see him lone wolf it and surf2win but I don't think they would.

I assumed they'd be mostly sprint train. They have the current green jersey holder and Champs Elysees winner, which I'd think is the biggest reason they will never actually take Cav.

For who? I don't see a competitive GC choice on their roster. Maybe Remco in a couple of years, but there's no way JuA will be allowed the yellow with the time gap he had a couple of years ago and no-one else on the team really stands out. JoA? He couldn't hack it against Sunweb in the Giro

First time Cav's won 3 stages in a row in a race since 2013 (Tour of Qatar, where he won 4 in a row and took the overall), third time he's done it (Tour of Ireland, 2008 being the other)

Well if the barriers don't completely give way, you aren't going to slam into a wall. You'll slide a bit or bounce off. Those water-filled Boplan plastic barriers seem like the best solution. They have a lot of give, but won't disintegrate or collapse like some of these other lovely fences.

oh for sure the plastic barriers are by far the the best solution. Spent my summers at uni putting up the barriers that was previously use and it's super fragile, cable tying them together so it doesn't unhook seems like it could be a decent solution for smaller races
