The police privately asked Dr Altermen to test the replica of Becker to confirm if there was indeed something strange about it. Cutting it open for all to see revealed that there was some disgusting truth to the message left on what was now known to be the body of Becker. Mechanism, flesh, and alchemical paste haphazardly replacing organs. Dr Altermen, in all of his professionalism, also managed to identify stitches and seams in the skin showing where the incisions were made to replace vital organs. Someone hadn’t wanted them to be seen, as they were folded under new skin and tucked away to obscure their presence. The paste used on Mr. Becker showed signs of crystallization, indicating... Something. He was a doctor not an engineer, he wouldn’t know. The chief had asked his most trusted confidants to keep this consultation and its findings quiet, however word got out that Dr Altermen was involved and had been taken in by police. More disturbingly to the townsfolk, word had also got out that Becker was actually dead. Unfortunately during the spread of these rumours, it was also insinuated that Altermen was somehow involved in the killing himself. The police took Alterman into protective custody as tensions raised in the city and certain elements fanned the flames of people’s passions. Many accused Alterman of being a radical socialist trying to undermine the industrialization of their town, and stormed the police station to confront Alterman. They succeeded due to a lax attitude by on duty officiers, and their confrontation swiftly turned to mob violence. Alterman was killed. Mr. Steak, Antonin Alterman, Town-Aligned Surgeon was executed day 1. Night 1 ends at 10:00 pm EST tomorrow, Wednesday the 12th. For failing to reach 10 posts on day 1, George Kansas will be freely executable tomorrow.

Extremely bad deadline yesterday, you all should be ashamed of yourself. I do not know whether to push GK to be lunched rn. I am going to roleclaim before anyone else can make a mistake. I am a visitor. What does that mean? It means I can visit someone each night. What can I do when I visit them? Absolutely nothing. I am probably meant to throw off trackers and watchers, so because of that I will claim at the beginning of each day who my targeted person was. I believe this is the towniest way to play this role. Last night I visited GK.

Like, I've never seen that role before and judging from the SAfia wiki, it's A Worse Doctor. Which, sure, okay. Especially with how he admitted it had bad optics. I still don't like the sudden last minute push for Steak, because of said optics, but I'm looking more at the folks who absolutely last second pivoted from George to Steak than anyone else. At first anyway.
