By comparison how many vehicles did the Iraqi army vs coalition losses in gw1/gw2 compare to this conflict? If Russia has lost 2500 vehicles so far is that more than the Iraqis did?

Akion posted:Technicals, tanks, commandeered vehicles, etc... yeah. So at this rate. Russian will have lost the equivalent of the Iraqi army in gw1 in another month in at least vehicles which as I recall was a top 5 standing army count at of 91 which mostly compromised of veterans of a 10 year war. Yeah I think Putin was probably misled about how well he’d do.

smax posted:Last year there was an air show at Ellington Field in SE Houston. The day before, a C-5 flew in since it was part of the show. The thing was landing and went right over my head as I was driving down the beltway, by far the largest plane since ever seen in person. I live in San Antonio. I get to see c5s almost every day. They just appear to hover in the air on their descent. It’s so crazy.

I'm gonna ask them. Why is the towed sonar array located on that weird spot on the hull like a fatback f16? Does water pressure increase the power needed to maintain speed, so mach speeds change at altitude due to air pressure while it's inverse in the water? Does sonar really do that green screen poo poo or is that so horribly made up that everyone in Hollywood adopted it? Did the Los Angelos class really have a computer on it that could analyze sound matched to a specific submarine?
