In some places it was very reminiscent of Star Wars, around the 11 minute mark when Dal first speaks with Zero, for a second I thought I was hearing the Tatooine soundtrack from Episode IV. I can excuse the amount of music in this episode though. Being the pilot, I imagine they purposely tried to make it seem like a movie. Hopefully they tone it down a little for the rest of the series.
