I used to hang out with these two sisters in high school and their dad had like almost a whole collection of playboys just chillin on the bookshelves in the den downstairs where one of the girl's bedrooms was and where we had our band practices and played video games and poo poo. In the bedroom there was this secret door and small passageway to a hidden room and we used to just pull em off the bookshelf and take em in there and look at them.  idk why that was never controlled more..

Never experienced playboy in my formative years, by the time I was old enough to seek out porn (like 9 or 10 i think) i just got on the internet and tried searching for porn sites by randomly typing things like boobs.com or whatever into the browser. About five minutes later the page would load, id ogle, then move on to my next search. Playboy was this thing i had heard about but never seen until my late teens and by then i couldn't believe that it was seriously considered porn

There were some really good sci-fi stories in them, and awesome articles about fighting in vietnam and stuff kind of a shame more 14 year olds won't be culturally shaped by them, really, it was a good way to come of age, probably a lot more healthy than internet porn and 4chan/YouTube

You gotta remember, back in the day porn was not easy to get. Playboy was the first porn medium that had wide, legal, easily accessed distribution. You didn’t need to know a guy to get it, you could subscribe to it or get it at the newsstand. Their content and quality gave it an acceptable veneer that made it respectable to buy. It was many years later until video rental and cable porn became an option.

I was sneaking reading my Uncle's Playboys when I was a kid babysitting my cousin. I hate kids so I'd just let the baby play or cry while I carefully whittled away at the surface of all the ice cream containers in their freezer and looked at the Playboys with fascination and repulsion mixed. I'm totally straight but I've always found puffies amazing and if I was a guy I would have been into them. (Mine are the opposite, lil pencil erasers so maybe that's why who knows.) He had a few Hustlers too which were noticeably grosser. At the age of like 10 though I could tell all the stories of these amazing sexual encounters happening to random guys were all made up; they didn't even change the writing style ever except occasionally there would be a shorter blunter one which was perhaps legit.
