larian, the divinity series studio, is making baldur's gate 3.. but since it's in early access i don't really feel like touching it at the moment. looks somewhat neat though

BL2 was the last one i played and I did all of it in multiplayer.. was fun, but i'm not really focused on item farming so when we tried to do NG+, i sort of burned out

they really tore the heart out of magic going from morrowind to skyrim, that's probably the one thing that made me want to play a mage-like character less and less with each iteration of TES

purchased Hardspace: Shipbreaker, and Control so far, i was looking at, They Are Billions but not quite sure on thatADINSX posted:I've been in the mood for a CRPG btw so I tried out Pathfinder WOTR but ended up giving that up, the story seems generic and the writing isn't great. Plus the crusade aspect is a super watered down heros of might and magic type game that I really wasn't into. i liked kingmaker well enough, but WOTR did not seem like my cup of tea pillars 1 was pretty decent and very nostalgic when i played it. deadfire blew me out of the water, i absolutely loved it

I played a lot of the survival mode while it was early access, really good. bounced hard off the campaign when it came out though i really like the aesthetic at a glance and the survival mechanic seems pretty good for a city builder. shame to hear about the campaign.. though i might hold off on it until the winter holiday sale.
