you know, watching the hype video for Cody vs Lance, I missed a narrative beat in the story; Jake seeing Lance as a combination proxy son/protege, like he can somehow help him get the career he was denied, which i feel there's a LOOOOOT of bitterness and resentment from his real life baked into that

hype hierarchy: #1 Stadium Stampede - this was kinda in the high middle for me before, but after seeing the buzz, I'm completely sold and ready #2 TNT Championship - inaugural matches and new championships are always fun #3 Nyla v Shida - i'm hoping this is the women's match moment i wanted from Revolution and i think the ladies can deliver #4 Casino Ladder Royale - should be an insane spot fest #5 Mox v Brodie Lee - i don't expect a title transfer and only a bit of build, so i'm just kind of "meh" on it, but I expect a really loving great match
