• Asuka and Charlotte defeated The IIconics and Bayley & Sasha in a Triple Threat tag that Bayley & Sasha quickly disappeared from. Asuka and Charlotte did not get on and Charlotte attacked Asuka post-match.
  
• Rey Mysterio and his large adult son Dominic did a sit-down interview about Rey maybe retiring. Seth Rollins was at the announce desk talking poo poo to Mysterio when Aleister Black attacked him out of nowhere.
  
• Aleister Black & Humberto Carrillo defeated Buddy Murphy and Austin Theory in a tag match. Seth Rollins came out in a Rey Mysterio mask and lead Murphy and Theory in beating down Carrillo and Black.
  
• Christian interviewed Edge on The Peep Show, where he warned him about phoning it in and just showing up at Backlash against Orton to do a greatest hits match and then leave. Edge got fired up and told a mocking Randy Orton on the Titantron that Backlash wouldn't be the end of Edge's return.
  
• The Street Profits and The Viking Raiders tied in a Decathlon: 1600-meter dash; archery; cup flipping; swordfighting; hurdles; stick-fighting; danceoff; shotput; turkey-leg eating and pole vault.
  
• Kevin Owens assaulted Angel Garza and Andrade as they were coming to the ring for a triple threat.
  
• Andrade defeated Angel Garza and Kevin Owens to become Number One Contender for Apollo Crews' United States Championship. Andrade pinned Garza after taking out Kevin Owens who had Stunnered Garza.
  
• Charlotte did a promo backstage explaining how losing her title last night was actually super cool and good and made her a winner. Asuka danced in and slapped Charlotte in the face.
  
• Zelina Vega put her Stable of Pretty Men in their place during a backstage argument.
  
• Kurt Angle (is he still fired?) picked Edge to win the Edge/Orton match at Backlash.
  
• WWE Champion Drew McIntyre invited The Viking Raiders to join him for a celebration after the show.
  
• Drew McIntyre came out instead of Bobby Lashley to be guest on The VIP Lounge. Lashley and MVP tried to ambush him but Drew beat up MVP.
  
• Bobby Lashley and MVP defeated The Viking Raiders in a tag match when Erik tapped out to Lashley's Full Nelson. Lana was backstage claiming she was happy to take time for herself since Lashley had told her not to be at ringside for his matches.
  
• Drew McIntyre Claymore Kicked Bobby Lashley when he wouldn't release a Full Nelson on Ivar.
  
• Charlotte Flair defeated Asuka in a singles match after Nia Jax ran to ringside and Asuka got distracted beating her rear end. Asuka appeared to kick out at 3 which they cut out of the replay.
  
• Nia attacked Asuka postmatch.
