A lot of the IWC (Internet Wrestling Community) is talking about a promo Bret Hart did on Shawn Michaels in the 90's after HBK posed in Play Girl. He said he didn't think it was a girly magazine, but rather a gay magazine! Was he right?

It was conceived of and marketed as a magazine intended for heterosexual women, but heterosexual women only ever bought it to give to each other as a gag gift. Its real audience was gay men who lived somewhere where they couldn't easily buy actual gay pornography with boners and stuff. (Playgirl models had to be flaccid because... reasons?)
