No. Conditioning and recovery work is part of off season and during lockdown no one could touch anyone to do any of that.

An ITK said one of the physios at United were making GBS threads themselves over soft tissue injuries in the restart because absolutely none of the work they usually do for recovery could be done.

The players didn’t just stop and sit on the couch though, they had programs given to them by the club

remarkable season wsant it. i cant believe bournemouth the well run budget seaside club run by lego man went down and john terrry's financially doping team scraped through, but great to see a resurgent arsenal top the league in terms of draws

I'd like to point out that Bournemouth would have stayed up on goal difference if Sheffield United had been given a goal that everyone in the world except for Hawkeye and VAR saw against Villa.

Yesterday they showed a replay of the VAR room when that happened and the VARs were all staring at each other confused because even they could see it had gone in but Hawkeye hadn't flagged it (because Hawkeye was not turned on lol) so they did nothing

That should be grounds for a large lawsuit from Bournemouth. The whole VAR system is busted if everyone can see that the ball is over the net but aren't allowed to give it / let the referee know to check the replay footage and give it because a system wasn't turned on.

I think it was on? They came out and said because there were so many players around the ball the system failed

lol that the response to hawkeye encountering a scenario that it can't accurately judge and so correctly doesn't is to poo poo on the system, and not to dump on the shite arse refs who were too dense to intervene and do the right thing

While I don't think there's a chance Bournemouth would win, Discovery would be really funny so I hope it happens

But you see if the refs did the right thing this time, then we would expect them to do the right thing other times and you can't have that
