So hey, I've been mostly lurking on these forums for a good 16 years now but never had a reason to post a thread of my own. Since we're living in the end times I feel like this might be a good time to get that out of the way before this place closes down for good. I've spent the whole day following the Goon Autonomous Posting Endeavor Thread and it's been a real rollercoaster ride. Goons are the best and most giving internet community there is and I just wanted to tell you all that I've enjoyed these years immensely. I could've been spending all these hours on something productive, but hey, at least I got something out of it... Something Awful This is to all the lurkers. Ugh, you made me break my lurking spree. Well said OP. SA is (was?) also my best source on current events. 9/11, Arab Spring, whatever tf is happening now. With the stupidest derails imaginable. And I made a MS paint once. Wich sucked.

At the same time I think that a massive Goon Exodus might actually trigger a lot of positive changes in the broader internet. This is a community which has grown with its users and developed an unique culture which shuns all the bullshit that internet is filled with these days. Maybe spreading that around could lead to good vibes in the long run.
