Julio Cruz posted:right but why? using one table is fine but using a different one isn't? because the announce desk, like the barricades, stairs when they are left on the ground, ring posts and now the plexiglass barrier are considered to be inherent parts of the wrestling environment -- it may be unsporting to use them, but it is not expressly illegal. this is different than the ring bell or chairs or other foreign items (such as additional tables under the ring) because the wrestler is not expressly bringing them into the match to cause harm with them or use them directly as weapons -- it's just a reality of having these amenities ringside.
