If the Canucks win, the second round would be entirely what it would have been under the previous bracket system, with divisional matchups. I can see the Canucks winning at least one game while being outshot two to one. StL/DC/Pitt/Chi/LA represents the last 8 years of champs. When was the last time so many recent champs were out after the first round? The teams that it is officially okay to cheer for now are the Canucks, Flyers, Islanders, and Stars. May be Colorado and Tampa. Really anyone other than Bruins and Knights.

Started with 2010 and went back as far as 1994. Montreal/Pittsburgh/Calgary/Islanders lost; Edmonton & Philly didn't make it. That was the last 21 years of champions.
