Theres no point in using bits anyways unless you want a special badge on the channel since 9/10 people just donate for the text to speech. Twitch figured out that incentivizing people buying subscriptions for other users is more profitable.

I mean if cover wanted to expand to china then yeah they might seek an apology to try and calm the waters but if they didn't they could just stoke the fires a bit. Sure you lose chinese nationalist willing to bypass the firewall, thus breaking the law, to look at some 3d girls, but inflaming american and japanese nationalist to donate more would probably be easier and more immediately rewarding given both japan and the USs current stances on china.

I dont think so because Coco is savvy enough that with proper partners she could launch a direct competitor against them. Its not just an exodus of their viewers, but potential talent they could be hiring in the future if they decide to move to a better managed organization. I think theres a greater risk of her walking out than actually being fired.

They need active moderation to stamp out spammers, its really the only way to take control of a streamers chat. Some independent twitch streamers PAY their moderators for their jobs, a multimillion dollar company should do the bare minimum.

Oh god I felt like I was going to get an aneurism watching Lulu mario royal, her really slow and passive gameplay style isn't suited for this game. After watching moonmoon yesterday absolutely destroy people back to back while being wasted on scotch watching her just prod around slowly felt painful. But she got better! And in the end she actually won a round!

In after action reviews you are expected to identify what went wrong and how to fix it so it doesn’t happen again. In that review you’ll say, hey had I stepped in here here and there this wouldn’t have happened, so now this will be our policy in regards to this. A better manager wouldn’t have had to wait after the fact to implement these controls. They would have corrected them on the spot before they became issues. It’s easy to say this after the fact, but experienced managers have already seen or at least heard of similar cases and what to do to stop them from escalating.

Like I said initially when this poo poo started, it will all come down to whether they would kowtow to the chinese market or expand harder into the western market and with holoEN it became obvious that expanding into the west was not only more profitable, but also saner for the japanese/western girls psyche. The western audience is probably even tamer than the JP one since we haven't been brokebrained by otaku idol culture. I dont think they'll go full burning of bridges, pander into nationalism and make it an us vs them thing to drum up even more money because I'm sure there will be plenty of chinese neckbeards that will still vpn into youtube to watch the girls.
