I watched some stream where they put everyone on a otaku not otaku chart. I think it was listed here earlier. Anyway, they put Pekora on the firmly not otaku side. She seems like an enormous nerd and given how often she talks about never going outside (before the pandemic) and relationship with her mom she almost comes off as a hikki.

The result was a nice little harassment campaign, CoverCorp forcing her to do a public apology and her Japanese viewer count tanking. The whole thing is a reminder that despite everything, Vtubers (or at least Hololive Vtubers) are not that far off from idols, at least as far as Japanese audience is concerned.

I noticed in the video they did the other day of her and amane doing karaoke that amane consistently lined up the mic with basically her upper chest which leads me to believe she is considerably shorter than her model lol Which is wild because her model is 4 10 at least in description. Idk if their character heights actually line up with their models height.
