There's this insane theory bubbling around in my head that what we're all experiencing right now is in fact two different but compatible universes interacting with each other. They perceive a universe where Trump really is a handsome and capable leader fighting demonic forces while we perceive the one where he's a hideous moron. I think people really need to temper their expectations about what a post-Trump America will be like. Literally nobody in power has any plans to fix any of the deep seated social or institutional issues that led to his election and the general state of protracted collapse the nation is in. I agree though, it will be nice to see him eat crow. Assuming he loses. Which isn't a given.

The whole point of a two party system is to get you to focus your blame and anger at the other victims of the people who actually cause all of the damage.
