the more the dems gently caress up, the higher the stakes are that a democrat has to win, the more you absolutely need to vote for dems next time

thats not really true. Biden has multiple times, including in the first debate, explicitly said that he will not entertain any of that malarky.

i would say, very broadly, there are three main things the american left is interested in -

* national single payer health care
* immediate action on climate change
* strong workers rights

none of those require the "abolishment of capitalism"

And I would argue the biggest thing that drew support to Bernie wasn't the belief he would snap his fingers and get it all done, but a belief that he would spend every waking moment for 4 years trying to accomplish these things like he said he wanted to. Probably the only thing he may have been able to pull off is some vague emissions poo poo targeting 2035 and sneak in a few laws to attempt to loosen the boot off the neck of unions.

thats all a huge amount of people want. someone who will stand by their promise to fight for the working man after they're elected.

yeah, it sucks to find out but it’s absolutely true. the votes of people in more rural states tend to count more than residents of more populous ones.

they dont just benefit from it its the only reason they exist anywhere outside of the senate.

a 6-3 Supreme Court will lay the legal ground work for the next century of increasingly blatant stolen elections until the waters rise and swallow us all. all while keeping us distracted with abortion rights. lol.

online politics is gonna get infinitely more annoying when the true believer democrats need to frantically defend the indefensible positions of the biden administration instead of the morally right one of "lol orange man bad" like they had to the past 4 years.

news media will probably be much nicer and pleasant to deal with though.
