They give me the URL of the png which is "private" and only I can see it. It's my png now. Like someone selling a physical painting. However, they can make "duplicates" but at the end of the day I have the "original" PNG. Is that it?

We are witnessing the collapse of Capitalism and due to the insane polarization in the modern United States this will result in many states succeeding and the entire United States only compromising just a handful of Northeastern states if any at all. However, due to all states will continue to follow neoliberalism things will deteriorate further everywhere. Things will keep declining until a radical socialist movement takes place, and the wings of revolutionary socialism will sweep the states prompting coups and civil wars across the former United States and honestly much of the world. In due time it will be possible for socialism to dethrone and defeat capital, paving way to a modern revolutionary socialist government from the Pacific to the Atlantic. It's always darkest before dawn, and this collapse of neoliberal capitalism is just the first step. The decaying of the modern system for the upcoming red shift in American and global politics has my support.

Peak oil won't matter much in the end because if the world continues to use as much oil as it typically does then civilization will collapse before we run out of oil.

That was a poor wording of my post. I in no way believe that the current governments, especially those in North America and Europe, will want to switch to renewables or try to. It would have better to word it if the populace will force/topple these governments to force these the energy industry to adapt.

Almost three quarters of greenhouse gases come from just 100 companies Virtually all of these companies are energy companies. Why, speaking hypothetically, wouldn't the governments nationalizing these companies and forcibly switching them to renewable energy not fight climate change?
