I have about 12 Zelda-themed shirts from Zeldathon over the years but the only other one I have, sir OP, or had rather, was a Halo 3 shirt. It actually looked pretty cool on me I thought. Just the Halo 3 logo. My dad got it for me for Christmas.

My first pair of glasses were Nintendo-brand frames. I don't know why Nintendo was licensing eyeglass frames or how long they did it (this was 1996), but they kicked rear end. They had a little Nintendo logo on one arm and came with a big plastic case that had Mario on it.

Back when I worked at gamestop, my buddy was the assistant manager and he volunteered to host a mariokart double dash tournament at another store because he was obsessed with swag. He wasn't allowed to compete so he brought me along to get the prize for him, but didn't tell me that part. I did end up winning and was stoked to get this black nintendo hoodie with the "who are you?" sorta graffiti text on the front, from that marketing run they were doing. When he tried to persuade me to give it to him he eventually caved and told me that was the plan, but it was a cool hoodie so I just kept it and wore it all the drat time. That's my game clothes story.

I don't have any gamer shirts but I did have a pacman new era cap that they were selling for some anniversary a decade ago. I also had this incredibly striking Jar Jar binks tshirt that I got from a JApanese thrift store for $1 that basically changed my life to the point where people would just come up and talk to me in bars and I made lifelong friends because of it. I had drugged out tourists wandering around shinjuku try to beat me up in the middle of the night because they hated it so much. I eventually lost it because I tried to eat a homemade sandwich in a bar and the manager had to physically restrain me to stop me from eating it at I got so mad and left, forgetting that I'd left my beloved Jar JAr shirt on the ground when I'd pulled my sandwich out of my bag. I shared the sandwich with a friend I was with which he instantly vomited it all over a train platform and some old japanese cleaner started yelling at us.
