My anecdotal experience with anarchist types is that they've been pretty chill whereas some of the hardcore ML types I know in real life take themselves a bit too seriously and don't know how to handle getting dunked on with grace. You can't reasonably extrapolate any of that into a political worldview but I'm doing it and you can't stop me, Mr. President.

When i was involved with marxist groups they were just bookclubs that some 38 year old treated as his personal podcast/dating mixer
anarchists actually accomplish things because they're not loving nerds

I went to meetings hosted by the now defunct and very trotskyist ISO for a while to see what they were about. they disintegrated because a lot of the leadership was found to be sex-pests lol.

Didn't mean to derail this thread by bringing up Trots, I just observed that if there's anything that the groups on the left that orthodox M-L/socialists hate the most tend to be anarchists and Trots. Well with anarchists it might be more of a condescending annoyance towards them than actual hatred. I base this purely on forums, Twitter, and the fanfic Harry Potter Becomes A Communist
