That's some pretty good progress. Is there a preview that updates as you draw, or is it something you flip on after you're done spriting?
It really doesn't seem to know what to do with the checkerboard pattern, haha. It is neat how it varies between zigzags, lines, and checkerboard.

It's going to be something you turn on when you share the image. Maybe I'll end up putting it in the preview too, because that would be really helpful as you draw.
Right, that checkerboard pattern would be better as squares, but some of your rings almost look rotated with that filter!

(I was curious and wondered what'd happen if you were to scale an image up by 2, then 4xBRZ it up. It's... charmingly clunky? But also very defined. Kinda like if someone tried to paint pixel art by hand.)

Yes, I experienced something similar. To make bigger renders, I'd apply the filter on a small image, and then upscale it and apply some kind of smoothing filter.
