There are a lot of stereotypes about gamers eating cheetos or doritos for five hours at a time, but I can't be the only one that doesn't want to get cheese dust all over my controllers. In my opinion, a good gaming snack should be filling, easy to eat, and free of any liquids, dust, or residue that would leave a stain or require intense napkin use. Personally, I've always favored peanut butter pretzels. They taste incredible, there's a great sweet/salty combination, and no mess. I've also had good luck with more simple options, like cashews, cheese sticks, and grapes. Really though, I started this thread because I wanted to get your feedback and see if there were some amazing options I'm missing out on. Imp Zone always has the best posts about games so I figured I could get similar advice snackwise.

I don’t usually snack while I’m gaming but a good cup of coffee really hits the spot for weekend morning gaming.

We use this one, it lets you brew a full pot or a single cup using a little reusable filter basket. It works great https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00EI7DPPI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_WA1F8Q8ACPKBAR275PRK?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

Maybe when I move. what about a stove-top, like a moka pot? i recently went back to it from a regular filter and it's the best kind of brew for gaming. just coffee and gaming is the way i usually go. like pablo said there's nothing like weekend morning gaming and coffee.

Local place has this bin of random garbage affectionately labeled "Treasure Hunt" and I thought it was just like a temporary thing because someone ordered too much Halloween candy or something but 6 months later it's still there and I went poking around in it and found some decent sized bags of Welch's fruit snacks so that's been a go-to for me lately.

imo leftover chili is the best gaming food though, super fuckin tasty and lots of protein, and if you do it over rice you get enough carbs to keep you rolling. as far as actual snacks, trader joe's lime and chili peanuts are my faves, high protein and super tasty
