All that said, the East is going to be a nightmare division to get out of once the playoffs hit. I kinda hope we draw the Penguins in the first round. The Caps should not be allowed a Stanley Cup win unless they beat the Penguins in a playoff series.

 This looks pretty much set for the playoffs, unless Boston goes on a losing streak and lets the Rangers sneak in at the last second. With Boston still having two games in hand, that seems doubtful though. The East is gonna be a bloodbath once the playoffs start and whomever emerges to round 3 is going to have the scars to prove it. There’s talk of a condensed first round that might have some back to backs, so having two starting quality goalies may be the key to advancing.

We’ve had the 3 on 3 for a while now and I still think I like it. Though it does suck when it’s five minutes of boring keep away that goes to a shootout. Not sure it should be changed or tweaked though.
