Those people are right and the expert is wrong. If people are panic buying and it's something you want or need then you should also panic buy. The people who didn't panic buy petrol don't have any and the people who did have bags full of it.

Either way it still sucks to actually need gas (or last year, toilet paper with me) quite literally and getting lumped in with the panic buyers.
