It would be cool if more got unlocked! I am not associated with this campaign, besides already supporting it, and I cannot vouch for the trustworthiness of the campaign runner.

That said you have a good point: it's crowd funding, so buy at your own risk. We can't guarantee that they won't take the money and run. Fortunately, unlike games, you'll know pretty quickly if you're getting a real product or not.

Anyone here heard of Pinfinity? I stumbled across them via an Instagram ad and ended up buying two pins from them. Their gimmick is you can download an augmented reality app and then look at the pins through the app and they’ll be animated and play sounds and music and stuff. I grabbed a Magic the Gathering one (Chandra) and a NASA one (space shuttle). The AR gimmick is pretty neat, but it helps that the pins themselves are cool and well-made. The selections are a little meager so far and there wasn’t a whole lot I was interested in other than the two I bought, but I’ll keep an eye on them.

I love a fresh pin but I also really like going to vintage bric a brac markets and finding old pins too My particular favourites here are the 2nd and 3rd place Soviet athletics pins I found in Newcastle and the Che's face on the Irish flag that I found in Derby that the stall owner had no clue on the history on

Any tips on how to keep enamel pins on your backpack? I'm afraid of losing the ones I can't just buy again if I lost them. My buttons I can easily use a safety pin to keep them in place, but I can't with enamel pins. I don't want to glue them down because then when the bag is worn out I wouldn't be able to transfer them. I've been lucky to only lose 2 in the 10ish years since I started collecting buttons and pins. It's still a worry as I begin to buy more now that I can afford to.

I had a native Russian speaker translate them for me. They're mostly locations, but the gold and silver ones are for donors of the USSR

I am a corporate whore apparently. To be fair I did think long and hard about this custom eeveelution set, but this year's official Christmas pins won out. I have some other slightly less shallow pins coming in from France that I am also hype for, but it will be a long while before they get here.
