I want to answer sarcastically, but I don't want to SAY that I'm answering sarcastically and I don't want people to think I'm being unironic either.

Achewood is the only comic that has ever made me laugh so hard that I nearly hurt myself though., and while it isn't always literally gut-busting, I've never seen an Achewood comic that wasn't funny.

-achewood had many moments of brilliance, real fuckin' crackup funny. but it's weird how the fanbase always got it totally wrong on which ones were good. like, the fans loved the great outdoor fight, which was just tonally wrong and wrong for the characters, and not funny. In fact, most of the linear arcs that were longer than would fit on one printed page weren't great.

I like One Giant Hand, but after reading a bunch many of the jokes have a similar ring, maybe.

Swan Boy and other comics by Branson Reese are solid.

great outdoor fight gets remembered because it was the first biggish story arc in achewood and is still the only story arc that actually finishes
