I think I missed Tochinoshin in his prime, but his upper body / shoulders still look pretty awesome even today. I like Tochinoshin

I've fallen behind in my viewing, I usually leave a YouTube live stream on in the background, however, I feel confident in saying this. SHODAI.

I am very pleased with my final position in my first basho and I will continue with my brand of sumo to the best of my ability.

I started watching a few years ago, back when there were three yokozuna, two always injured and Hakuho. Then the always injured dudes retired and it was just Hakuho. Tochi has always been my favourite though!

Funny moment in Juryo, with Enho's opponent going early at the tachi-ai and launching him backwards out of the dohyō!

Well, it would seem my brand of sumo sucks in this basho!

Trade Request: Am I too late for Day 8? I would like to trade out Ichinojo for Wakatakakage or Daieisho (in that order of preference). Thank you very much!

Kenning posted:Sorry, this was submitted after Day 8 bouts had already concluded, so it's past the time for any non-kyujo trading. drat time-zones, I was very confused when making my request! Is kyujo replacement done automatically, as Terunofuji is broken?

Much like SHODAI decided to do crazy things like "warm up" and "know who he was fighting", I have decided to look at stats for the last two weeks and I am fully prepared to go 0-15 on every pick this basho. Whatever it was, it seemed to gently caress Takayasu up pretty bad. At the end of the day I am glad Abi won, if only because it meant they didn't have to force Takayasu to fight again.
