Post some pics or a link to what a gardening tag is if you're up for it. Are these vintage, valuable, or remarkable in any way? Or just a worthless plastic thing that there are billions of.

It is. rear end-penny posted:Congrats on the payday. What's a gardening tag? . Friend of mine found a bunch while rummaging through his stuff, asked if I could polish them up since he's really really busy recently. I said sure. Most of them were basically slathered with so much orange rust they are unreadable until I rubbed them down with steel wool. palindrome posted:Post some pics or a link to what a gardening tag is if you're up for it. Metal vintage tags, originally by a collector that loved this stuff in the 70's-80's. Used mostly for hens&chicks sempervivum plants. Here's a random sample I pulled out(probably could be cleaned a little more, but far less grittier than before) Different backdrop/sample of much cleaner ones:

Pretty cool. Its neat how they are different shapes, presumably tailored to the type of plant the tag is for. Relics from a bygone age. I've only seen this kind of plastic stuff
