My brother was showing me a Youtube video about a glitch in Super Paper Mario. Luigi was slowly scootching backwards up a pyramid made of clouds, then he did a backflip from a crouch like in Mario 64 and instead of landing on the ground clipped through it for a bit, and when he landed in a hidden chamber he was a Koopa Troopa holding a football instead. Some big red text scrolled across the screen that said "Congratulations Luigi!" and then the Koopa Troopa was invisible except for his shell and white gloves. I argued with my brother that this was not a glitch, the football was obviously an item that disguised Luigi as an invisible koopa so Bowser wouldn't be able to recognize him. My brother had to agree that there was a scene in the video where Bowser looked right at him and didn't notice, though I didn't remember seeing that.

As he explained it I saw their twitter posts appearing before me as a mental image, showing fluffy clouds and torches with really cool lighting with the caption "nice fire" or "amazing clouds". Then I asked him if there other elements, and he said that there were hidden elements with their chosen posters still unrevealed, but one day they would reveal themselves like I did. "Nice light" was one such element, and I saw screenshots of really beautiful sunsets and ruined churches like from Dark Souls, bathed in solemn light.

But that thought led me to an inevitable conclusion: That means there must be a "nice dark" guy out there. As the thought arose unbidden, Twitter posts with screenshots appeared before me, same as before but now showing terrible monsters and warped demons made from shadow, like out of Junji Ito's Sensor which I read before going to bed, with accompanying captions of "nice dark" and "amazing dark in this game". Seeing those words and nightmarish images made me incredibly terrified, I wanted nothing more than the images to stop appearing. And then I woke up.

I still can't shake the deja vu feeling that I was just dreaming a post someone else had already posted in the previous threads.
