The main saving grace of Realist Hero is that for better or for worse they're mostly adapting the underlying story faithfully. I will grant Genius Prince's underlying drawings, especially of the main characters, are of much higher quality, but the actual movement ranges from "this is pretty standard" to "wtf how are they not using decades old animation tricks to make this not look awful"

I thought the plot would be derailed by some scheme or antagonism but the duke's idiot son showing up unexpectedly and dying in the most ridiculous, suspicious way possible actually feels really true to history. He really is basically Tanya except dealing with national policy instead of military action. They appear to have made an actual OP after skipping it entirely last week, though they still did credit roll over actual plot/conversation. Also Rieri continues to be good.
