I've been listening to Tribe since my friend introduced me to The Low End Theory way back in high school. In a lot of ways it's the album that got me into rap and it certainly expanded the horizons of the sheltered little suburban dweeb listening to it for the first time. Midnight Marauders has become my favorite album of theirs since then (with "Electric Relaxation" being my most-loved rap track of all time), though We Got It from Here... Thank You 4 Your Service came drat close to unseating it. Picked a favorite song from each of Tribe's albums, love to see which tracks are close to your heart. RIP Phife Dawg aka The Five-Foot Assassin aka The Funky Diabetic aka Dynomutt ("Bonita Applebaum" - People's Instinctive Travels and Paths of Rhythm) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mw5GqMwyun8 ("Electric Relaxation" - Midnight Marauders) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WHRnvjCkTsw ("Butter" - The Low End Theory) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9-lNdALkI1U ("Get a Hold" - Beats, Rhymes and Life) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nybfYilzHXE ("Conrad Tokyo" - We Got It from Here...
