It's been fairly common with AEW to do this when someone has a nagging injury where they can still work hurt but need a procedure done, so they can work an injury angle into a match or segment to explain their absence.

i think we could have had a lot more play out of the idea that it's all too predictable and it's a bad show because of that. there isn't really enough time left to get into it now. i'm going to have a lot of fun watching

I'm not too bothered given that this PPV probably already made big bucks and they'll very likely do another Forbidden Door in the future to give us even more dream matches. I'm gonna see some fuckin insane matches and couldn't be happier that we're getting this insane bonus 5th PPV.

Speaking of which… a bit annoyed that I rushed to get ANYTHING for this show and didn’t get the seat I wanted, but I can like casually buy 5th row floor seats on ticket master right now for $300 or lower bowl for $125 center with the ring in row 12.

you can get around FITE's VPN blocker by using an earlier version of the app that doesn't have it https://fite-tv.en.uptodown.com/android/download/4502568 that one worked for me a couple months ago, hopefully it'll still do the trick
