i setup a cheap linux desktop (lol, lmao) so i don't need a blast furnace to shitpost in the summer. i'm using a thin client with too much ram and storage and it runs really well! it'll run win 11, so that can be a project for another day. after the m2 mac mini is a thing it'll make a good cheap home server. my old mba is my plex server, so this'll be a good replacement single stream replacement with more ram and a better cpu Agile Vector fucked around with this message at 00:29 on Jul 24, 2022 |

i finally got some sunglasses for my vacation starting tomorrow, it turns out these are great for driving? but somehow the polarization on my car’s digital lcd speedometer is wrong so my polarized sun glasses block out most of the light so i can hardly see my speed. like i expected more from toyota tbh, just align the polarization right in your lovely speedometer? i’ll be on vacation with some fairly conservative in-laws and my niece-in-law just came out. i’m really non-confrontational so i just hope i have the strength to tell them to go gently caress themselves if they give her poo poo. i think the numbers are on our side at least, most everyone else will be supportive or ambivalent. but there’s some folks that are like hardcore never drink a drop of liquor religious so this might be a spicy weekend/week.

got back from the cabin. Its nice but my solar system is constantly breaking. This time it looks like some beasts yanked on the cables from the panels and pulled them out of the charger and the load on the battery drained it all the way and now it doesnt wanna charge. Always fuckin something. Also my boy decided this was the weekend to be a teenage shithead and just act like an rear end in a top hat for 36 straight hours. Other than that it was real nice.
