 A young boy makes a promise to his dying mother to one day rule the world and become a rich and powerful force. We follow Rocky in a fast paced, action filled, over the top stylish movie as he attempts to ascend and find his place in the world. KGF is actually a two part movie. KGF Chapter One was released in 2018 and unfortunately due to some setbacks, mainly covid, Chapter Two was delayed until 2022. During those 4 years they also forced the lead actor to keep his facial hair and hair style and he grew to like it. The movie is framed as a man's account of history that was buried and put off record to give it a mythic quality. It's not perfect, imo, part 1 is stronger than part 2 but there's a lot of good here. If you liked RRR you'll probably like this one. Starring a bunch of people you've probably never heard of! Yash! (Naveen Kumar Gowda)  Srinidhi Shetty  Ramachandra Raju  Ayyappa P. I waited until the last day but I got to this finally! I should have not waited, it was a lot of fun. A story about a poor kid growing up to be an incredible hitman overthrowing slavers and inspiring the enslaved is a cool rear end story. The action sequences have some great style, maybe a few too many frenetic editing choices though. The pacing took a bit of getting used to, but I did like how it'd cut back to the reporter's interview periodically setting up for the next bit of narration. Will definitely be checking out the next chapter.
