Before I quit Max 401k Pay off any outstanding debts Get my 2022 taxes completed Complete my living will and power of attorney process Launch my portfolio Finish updating my resume After I quit Stay within my $500 month fun budget Sell any extra clothing I haven't used this past year Sign up for health insurance via the marketplace Set up my Squarespace and start selling my pottery to make my hobby self-sufficient Find a new job by July. New job Max Roth Save 30% of new salary

I did not max my 401k, but got to 17,500 before I got laid off in a restructure last week. I did not see it coming/was never notified so a lot of these goals are very very relevant, except for by July. I'm going to have a summer vacation since I got a severance and COBRA covered for 3 month plus my own 45k in cash. My whole dept was basically gutted.
