down here in the Deep South we get new years a bit sooner than most and so I spent this afternoon changing the water in the pond I made for grumpy rescue ducks Jeremy and Jemima. clearly the warmer December weather has made their pond a breading ground for all sorts of nasties in a matter of hours!  we rescued these two from a farm that was about to have them go to ducky heaven so we took them on. I sort of understand why.
