This now marks two threads devolving into stove arguments. To summarize from the IoSM thread: 1) IF you're seeing a major difference it's probably mostly psychological 2) You're probably using it wrong 3) Induction 4) If you're boiling water on the stove top for any reason you're being silly in a universe where electric kettles exist 5) A small derail about cast iron.
