I mean I don't know but when I looked into it last time it was posted I thought that university had actually done something with cellulose like that, it was just completely unrelated, but I can't remember.

Also, if you use ChatGPT it does a better job and doesn't make that mistake:

Scientists create Liquid Trees; a tank full of water and micro-algae that could be an alternative to trees in urban areas.

quote:

In a groundbreaking new development, scientists have created what they call "Liquid Trees" - a tank filled with water and micro-algae that could be a substitute for actual trees in urban areas.

The idea behind Liquid Trees is to provide a sustainable alternative to traditional trees, which can be difficult to maintain and may not survive in certain environments. With Liquid Trees, the algae are able to grow and photosynthesize, producing oxygen and absorbing carbon dioxide, just like real trees.

According to the scientists involved in the project, Liquid Trees can be installed in a variety of locations, including sidewalks, plazas, and parks. The tanks are relatively small and can be easily transported, making them a versatile option for urban areas.

The benefits of Liquid Trees are numerous. Not only do they produce oxygen and absorb carbon dioxide, but they also filter out pollutants and help to regulate temperature and humidity. Additionally, the micro-algae used in the tanks can be harvested and used for a variety of purposes, such as biofuels, animal feed, and even food for humans.

The creation of Liquid Trees is a major step forward in the field of urban sustainability. With more and more people living in cities, it is important to find ways to create green spaces and promote a healthy environment. Liquid Trees offer a promising solution, providing all the benefits of trees in a more manageable and sustainable form.

The project is still in its early stages, but the scientists involved are optimistic about its potential. They hope to work with city planners and urban developers to introduce Liquid Trees to cities around the world, creating a greener and more sustainable future for all.

but of course even if they used chatgpt who knows what prompt they gave it

this is a nonsense scale argument. there's no point paying for the resources to pay for the video uploads and reencodes and everything if the *expected* view count is <1. youtube is primarily for public videos, expect thousands of views and act accordingly.
So how would this work? If a parent uploads a video of their kid's piano recital and it gets 5 views you automatically permaban them from youtube?

Or more practically, I guess, you have a human check every video that gets 10,000 views?

I hope this doesn't result in a lot of angry android users yelling "but we deserve expensive things too" at me like when I occasionally make the mistake of posting in the Chromebook thread

in medicine there is a concept called “a zebra” from a now very old expression that’s something like “when you hear hoofs behind you don’t expect a zebra”

the thing is in medicine on very rare occasion it is a zebra. the ridiculous depth and hours of medical school followed by the illegally long hours of residency had their basis in actually seeing some crazy off the wall stuff and diagnosing it accurately (also cocaine abuse and eating your young as a profession but I digress).

RNs get no experience with any of this and get as little as a single 3 semester hour course in each of anatomy, pharmacology and pathology in the conversion from BSN to DNP which should be terrifying.

but some NPs have restricted scopes of practice and have significant training you may say. yup, however when you see NP after the name you have no idea if they actually have it and those with the minimum of training are allowed to run ERs by themselves.
In theory this makes sense but in reality it kind of seems like a lot of times what doctors learn during residency is basically the opposite, namely to disregard the possibility of uncommon stuff, and then patients who have rare conditions have extreme difficulty getting experienced doctors to correctly diagnose them?

I guess maybe they just want me to say "fantastic" and sound like I mean it but, yeah, that's not happening
