All Elite Wrestling, an American wrestling company of minor note, announced tonight that it will be running a show called "All In" on Aug. 27 at London's Wembley Stadium:

This is only the promotion's second stadium show and the first on anything approaching this scale. The venue's capacity of 90,000 (subject to change for wrestling layout) makes it the largest AEW show in history by a great margin, nearly four times larger than the maximum audience at Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York.

A show of that size invites the question: How in the heck does AEW intend to fill the place, exactly? One would presume that all hands will be on deck to produce a big-time card, and over the next few months, obsessive wrestling nerds will pass the time by arguing over the best way to move tickets. I figured a spinoff thread would be useful so the mainline thread isn't subjected to every stupid match that pops into my head as a potential draw, and I invite the rest of you to speculate to your heart's content as well.

What's the biggest "money match" the company could book with the current roster?
Will controversial middle aged man CM Henderson make his long speculated-about return?
Will Sting wrestle his last match?
What wrestlers from other promotions will pass through the Forbidden Door (two months after the actual show Forbidden Door)?
Which English wrestlers will get the chance to show out in front of their home country, and which will be told "Sorry buddy, not even nationalism can get you on this card" (aka "Falling below the Kip Sabian Line")?
Which hot free agents could be brought into the fold?

Answer all these questions or none...on the road to All In :britain:

Here's my first pass at a pulling-out-all-the-stops card that still keeps an eye toward having to book All Out a week later:

CM Punk and FTR vs. Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks
Kazuchika Okada vs. Jon Moxley - IWGP World Heavyweight Championship
PAC vs. “Switchblade” Jay White - No. 1 Contender match, winner gets title shot vs. MJF at All Out
Jamie Hayter vs. Mercedes Moné - AEW Women’s Championship
Will Ospreay vs. Bryan Danielson - G1 Briefcase match
Zack Sabre Jr. vs. “Hangman” Adam Page - Undisputed British Heavyweight Championship
Sting and Darby Allin vs. Goldberg and Samoa Joe - Sting retirement match
Jade Cargill vs. Saraya - TBS Championship
Orange Cassidy vs. Nigel McGuinness - AEW International Championship
The Acclaimed vs. Grizzled Young Veterans vs. Aussie Open vs. Le Sex Gods - No. 1 Contender match
Global Casino Battle Royale
Zero Hour: Kip Sabian and Penelope Ford vs. Adam Cole and Dr. Britt Baker, DMD

Stray thoughts:

-At first I had PAC in a title match vs. MJF, but then I figured doing a match for a title shot at All Out instead would create an opening where you can actually give the goblin a moment of triumph in his home country. (I know it seems pretty unlikely that AEW would let PAC headline a PPV at this point, but I don't think they'd have to worry about All Out sales if CMFTR vs. The Elite is a prelude for separate Punk/Omega and FTR/Young Bucks matches a week later!)

-On a card that depends on multiple free agents agreeing to work for AEW and one team getting released from WWE, I feel like the biggest pipe dream here is the idea that NJPW would let AEW have Okada/Moxley as a match. If I had to scrap that, I would probably do PAC/Moxley as the No. 1 contender match instead, and maybe run Switchblade/Nigel as the International Championship match since it feels unlikely that OC will actually hold the belt that long.

-I did this with the idea that Ospreay/Omega II and ZSJ/Danielson would both be Forbidden Door matches, but you can swap around the participants in Ospreay/Omega/ZSJ matches pretty easily if need be (e.g. - alternate configuration of CMFTR vs. Hung Bucks, Ospreay/Omega II for the G1 briefcase, ZSJ/Bryan for the RevPro belt)

-Jericho/Sammy is a much a more realistic opponent for Sting/Darby, but I couldn't resist the idea of Darby getting tossed around by Goldberg for a while

-Thought that entered my mind after adding the Casino Battle Royale: Nick Aldis IS The Joker

Ooh, Saraya/Mercedes is a good shout that didn’t cross my mind. Mercedes is definitely way more likely to carry Saraya to a good match than Jade

Isn't Drew's contract not up until next year? I keep seeing people suggesting him in AEW this summer and I don't think that timeline works?

It's up later this year but after All In, according to SRS.

Saw this post on Twitter today and think it's an interesting thing to keep in mind. UK audiences have certainly had plenty of opportunities to see Ospreay already, and more importantly, Ospreay's greatest appeal is to an audience that AEW probably already has in the bag.

Not saying you don't put him on the card in a prominent spot anyway, but you probably shouldn't count on him being a big needle-mover. I would maybe be a little hesitant to run an Omega-Ospreay rematch when you could probably use Kenny to make an even bigger match

Thought it might be interesting to resurface this thread now that the card is actually starting to come together. Congrats to the following posters for correctly guessing matches that have been announced/rumored/teased thus far:

Hefty Leftist posted:

Adam Cole vs MJF AEW Championship
FTR vs Young Bucks Tag Championship

End of list. Congrats again to all who succeeded.
