Hoping Ohtani pitches like Ohtani today. I'm all aboard for the Angels making a run. If you've watched his last three, he is clearly looking at the back of his hand a lot while his velocities are down. I think any other year, he would have been skipped once or twice in the rotation. Instead, he is pitching through it. I cannot fathom pitching with a hosed fingernail. Also, has anyone else noticed Moniak is sorta a clutch beast? He blew that game the other day with a missed catch, then drove in the winning run in extra innings on his next at bat. I think he is 1.0ing it with his OPS this year. Edit - Almost, he's at .978 with an OPS+ of 161
