This is weirdly well cut. The coat lies close on the chest and covers his belly well. The shoulders are slightly overextended which is an Anderson and Sheppard look which allows you to subtly broaden the shoulders which makes the waist look smaller. Because it buttons all the way to the collar there is no way to hide a neck dart or draw in the bridle but it doesn't break over the chest. There must be a substantial belly cut hidden in the pocket to control hem like this. If you look at the cloth, the front edge is gradually moving forward towards the bottom, but it's perfectly cut so it lies straight. Sleeves are pitched perfectly though maybe ½" too long. Looks like a herringbone or possibly self stripe worsted, maybe 13oz. The trousers look mad but they don't reveal the contours of his distorted calves at all. The crease has been sewn or fixed somehow so his thighs pressing against the topsides don't make it disappear.  Who does this kind of work? Is this a local firm or does he fly to London when wears out the trousers?
