I think I know all of Sleepaway Camp by heart. It is aggressively Long Island shithead kids and I am deeply endeared to it despite the ending that is…could have been better done. Anyway: Touch of Death  Tammy and the T-Rex  Auntie Lee’s Meat Pies  Frankenhooker (I was like seconds away from going as her this year)  The Hidden (absolute loving GEM of an 80s flick)

 Leatherface bashes Kirk in the head, pulls his still twitching body into the hall. He then slams the metal door to a low, droning synth. It's so perfectly effective in ramping the movie from suspenseful to horrific. This scene followed by the amazing "under the tree swing" dolly shot following Pam into the house is probably the best sequence of any horror movie ever.
