It will be about as good as the summer blockbusters of the last few years. If you liked those, this will probably measure up. It's probably going to mostly be a retread of the first movie with some slightly different things, raised stakes, and an excuse to wallow in nostalgia, all in the hands of someone way less capable than Stephen Spielberg.

prob suck as much as the new disney star warses it will 'get good reviews' and might even be decent, but will still remain a shameless cash-in practically guaranteed to multiply the #s in the bank accounts of those invested in it because of nostaligia/fandom...and theres no escaping that thats all it is really. its really not 'economically viable' for the film industry industry to be turning out any major high budget productions based on any sort of original ideas at the moment and likely ever again. thankfully these days all u really need to make a movie are actors, a script/plot, and an ipad...get the first two right and u might get urself a career in pictures (obv nepotism still helps here...see lena dunham's tiny furniture)      so glad i stopped caring about any of this years ago...they should throw mark wahlberg in the new star wars just to see all the nerd tears and cries of 'MY CHILDHOOD' on FB. i mean loving harrison ford almost died the other day in a plane wreck and i felt almost nothing over it, maybe im just jaded idk

If so, where are the feathers? well since jurassic world will feature an actual dinosaur theme park i'm pretty sure they'll handwave away that by saying that the park creators thought the dinosaurs would look cooler without feathers fwiw some of the raptors in jp3 did have feathers. so that's nice.
