I think you mean Diesel was HW and Shawn was IC. False. They won the tag titles on 8/28/94m Diesel didn't become WWF champ until 11/26/94.

Are you sure? I thought they beat Owen and the Bulldog at some IYH where all the titles were on the line. Then Shawn and Diesel held all the major titles at once.

e: nevermind...I wasn't thinking of when they were heels in 93-94. I was only thinking of when they were both faces, and actually called themselves the Two Dudes with Attitudes.

Given that ROH currently have a sale on their website (up to 30% off for Ringside Members), could people please recommend one ROH DVD, one Shimmer DVD and one PWG DVD for someone who currently has none of the aforementioned?

Edit: I should mention, my aim is to buy stuff from this year.

If you're looking for SHIMMER, you might want to wait until the latest 4 DVDs with Kana come out. Not that Kana makes the shows entirely by herself, but all four cards are stacked. Those would be #41-44. A lot of the other shows have good and bad matches, but no overall card stands out. (Christina Von Eerie and Sara Del Rey have no chemistry, don't buy those DVDs for those matches).

Volume #42 looks like the best, the Knight family are great, you get Kana vs SDR #1, and Athena's impressive top-rope stunner.

For PWG, Steen Wolf looks like it will be a show of the year. DDT4 was fantastic and probably one of the best of the year, the Briscoe/Tozawa crazy-off gets me every time.

Before I get into quoting, this has been in my mind lately: what active-by-the-1980s wrestler holds up the best in the ring? Is it Sting? Clearly it is Scott Steiner. Obviously this is totally subjective, and someone like Abdullah the Butcher probably holds up great since as far as I can tell he never did anything too taxing anyway, but you know what I mean. Terry Funk clearly moves with the same grace as he did in 1981.
