I was given a little pile of cool old origial movie posters, thought you might like to see them. There are those who kill violently! Nice prison rape poster for the bathroom: They are all labeled/stamped: Jimmy Cliff, this one is signed by the director: I never knew Johnny Rotten made a movie with Harvey Keitel. This one came with a nice 8x10 that I can't find right now. Snowy fucked around with this message at 03:54 on Dec 16, 2012 |

Wendell posted:I just wish they'd stick to "big" movies. The new Rocky and Rambo were eventful returns of old characters, Expendables was another big event bringing all those old stars together. Arnold's The Last Stand and this Bullet to the Head movie are just generic crud that will be instantly forgotten. The director of The Last Stand was also responsible for I Saw the Devil, and Bullet to the Head is a new Walter Hill movie. I will be very surprised if either of them turn out badly.

That poster is based off a shot in the film: Quorra's not clinging to him in a "oh, sam~ *swoons*" manner. She's trying to get him into the portal back out into the real world - he's hesitating because he has to leave his father behind, who is being threatened by CLU, the dude with the yellow stripes. Illustrated here: And here: I also really want this poster as I mentioned, but they're loving 400 dollars on ebay. Mondo really needs to do reprints from time to time

I remember there's an old rule of thumb for drawing faces that was something like every line on it adds ten years to the character. Dude in the cap looks like he's about 60.

I hear the Heavy Metal animated movie was much the same. Due to issues with music rights, you could only get it on bootleg for a while.
