Not sure if there's any pictures out there but it was amazing to see such an innuendo in broad daylight. edit: Here it is. Maybe not as close to exactly looking like a boner as I remember. Yeah, I agree. A lot of posters and covers in this thread are just clever for the sake of being clever, but this actually tells you a lot about the movie in a visually interesting way.

To be honest I can appreciate both. From a purely "putting asses in seats" perspective, yeah, the in-reference posters and ads are pretty poor. But once you have seen the films, some of those "clever" ones, like the first American Psycho billboard, are just awesome. There are a lot of minimalist posters that rightly catch flak for just being plain bad, for instance, but some (the ones done by professionals and not pretentious fans) are great. Criticizing a poster for doing a bad job as a marketing tool is legitimate, but it's still fair to appreciate ones that fail at that but are still awesome in general.

I guess this is just a teaser poster, but it is actually fairly well made. Not that the movie most likely will be.

Yeah, i'm fairly certain that's a hoax. I know that Reeves was talking about them making a third film, but that was years ago and to my knowledge, there isn't even a script yet.

Yeah, the script is about Bill and Ted not having written the song that's saved the world yet, so they have to figure out why. Keanu seems to be excited about it.

In regards to the first post and the hills have eyes 2 posters: The reason the second poster made it through the mpaa was because the person could be dead. The first poster has the person clinging to the sand and this shows life. I don't like it but that's how they work. I worked on a film about 5 years ago that was a torture porn film and had someone being skinned alive during the intro (lulz). The person was medicated so there was no reaction to this but during the final moments of the scene the person gasps for air. Because of this 1 shot of the person gasping for air after being skinned the film got tagged nc-17 for violence. We went in and removed this shot of breathing (still left the skinning alive mind you) and did a couple other tweaks and got our R rating. (USER WAS PUT ON PROBATION FOR THIS POST)

That'd look bitchin' on an eight year-old's wall but it really doesn't quite convey the tone of the movie quite like the original does. That sleek corporate logo promising adventure, it's pretty much perfect.
