I am a little technically stupid, so I'm not sure how to tell/what to check regarding proxy usage. Is this something I can bypass, or is that not to be discussed?

I am using the Stealthy add-on for Firefox. Once it is running, you just click a button twice to change proxies. That way you can run through them quickly until you find one that had not been IP banned.

If you were using a proxy you would know it, it's a very intentional thing. A proxy is an address you connect through, so that your requests appear to come from the proxy, not your own computer. You can keep connecting through proxies until they're all banned.

It appears that Fred Paulson's complaint got disappeared and the shares are still going strong.
As a result, it seems TPC's mods are going to let this poo poo happen until someone kills the person whose dox were dropped.
Then again, given that the text under the "View More" button states that the victim has lots of valuables and no weapons, that's probably the general idea.

It's still on TPC Moderator 3's page. I'll re-post it to a few other mods. if nothing happens soon. Fred is a trouble maker and will probably be banned soon. I've decided to have him start arguing with folks a bit more. Nothing violating the TOS, but we all know how that goes.

"My particular interpretation is exactly what god intended 100% with no difficult and important discussion required."

Funny how this idiot pretending to speak for Yahweh fails to mention anything at all about the emphasis that the bible places on blasphemy like this being a big no-no.

Also, calling the bible* the literal word of god and not the word of man as inspired by god is a major blasphemy. Basically almost everyone espousing this nonsense are apostates. (Which makes sense, since early America was made up of a lot of persecuted apostates seeking refuge.)

*The bible already being a product of the catholic church's heavy editing & re-writing - to say nothing of how the King James version and others in anything other than Latin are considered to be heretical documents.

More antidote to all the religious hate from the TPC site, because Quakers are rad folk.

Here's a Quaker and Muslim hanging out. It's worth noting that there are many examples of the tolerant & loving equivalent of Quakers in Islam as well. (Not to mention the many other branches of tolerant and loving Christianity.)

Being an atheist, I consider people like these to be my staunch allies. Debates about religious belief with them are good-natured no matter if we disagree, since we fundamentally agree on equality, freedom, and tolerance.

If all religious people were nice as these folk, a lot of the world's problems would vanish overnight.

One of his few redeeming qualities. Another one being that he was intelligent and learned. If he wasn't a paranoid youth-hating racist asswipe, he might've been an awesome president.

Nixon thought Reagan was a "dumb son of a bitch." (He was right.)

President Nixon: What's your evaluation of Reagan after meeting him several times now.

Kissinger: Well, I think he's a--actually I think he's a pretty decent guy.

President Nixon: He's really pretty shallow, Henry.

Kissinger: He's shallow. He's got no...he's an actor. He--When he gets a line he does it very well. He said, "Hell, people are remembered not for what they do, but for what they say. Can't you find a few good lines?" [Chuckles.] That's really an actor's approach to foreign policy--to substantive....

President Nixon: I've said a lot of good things, too, you know drat well.

Kissinger: Well, that too.

(snip)

President Nixon: Back to Reagan though. It shows you how a man of limited mental capacity simply doesn't know what the Christ is going on in the foreign area. He's got to know that on defense--doesn't he know these battles we fight and fight and fight? Goddamn it, Henry, we've been at--

Kissinger: And I told him--he said, "Why don't you fire the bureaucracy?" I said, "Because there are only so many battles we can fight. We take on the bureaucracy now, they're going to leak us to death. Name me one thing that we have done that the bureaucracy made us do."

President Nixon: The bureaucracy has had nothing to do with anything.

Kissinger: No, no. They've made our lives harder. They've driven us crazy. But that doesn't affect him.

It's nice to see the guts of republican cynicism exposed as it truly is, behind the veneer presented to the public - ironically I think the Nixon tapes are probably Nixon's most valuable contribution to humanity. :allears:

Nixon, the rabid anti-communist sexist anti-semite homophobe paranoid jingoistic rear end in a top hat racist who pandered to racists in the south in order to win , is too leftwing and RINO-y for the Tea Party. Let that sink in.

I see them more extensions of Bircher paranoia - or perhaps a modern Know Nothing party, if you will - than extensions of Nixon's paranoia. Nixon was paranoid that his enemies were trying to ruin his presidency. Birchers were more the "I noticed my mailman was wearing red socks today; I am now 100% convinced he's a deep cover KGB agent sent to tamper with our mail" paranoid.

It's not really the age, either.

Carla Bruni was a model before she married the French President.

Princess Letizia was a journalist and televised news anchor before she married an Asturian Prince.

Michelle Obama was (and is) a lawyer and works with non profits for disadvantaged people.

Two of the three had careers that depended on their looks. It could be argued that -neither- of them would be where they are without being slender, beautiful women who could attract men -already- in high positions of power.

The First Lady was with the President long before he was a President. She was a lawyer and activist. She got -that- through work, not how well her body type conformed to the social opinion of 'most beautiful'

Michelle Obama is beautiful. And not fat, goddamnit. But these tea partiers just show their racism/sexism through and through-- "Mrs Obama doesn't conform to OUR idea of beauty, so she's HIDEOUS AND UGLY AND FAT AND WORTHLESS AND...."

He also nationalized a private industry (passenger rail, with Amtrak.) As such he's more of a genuine socialist than any other recent president I can think of. Still, you'd think the Tea Party would be all over a guy who ran bombing campaigns with names like "Linebacker" and "Rolling Thunder."

e: Yeah, I wasn't trying to say, "Americans freak out when a woman exposes her tits, therefore it's okay for an Afghan to freak out when a woman exposes her hair." Those are both bad things, but a lot of people don't understand why Muslim women choose to wear hijab and it's a good analogy.
