Maybe it's just me, but is anyone else vaguely reminded of that Yogi Bear poster? I think it's the way Will Smith and his kid are positioned on that poster. Or maybe I need help.

Do you react this way when you see people standing in front of each other in real life, too? Do you see lines at the DMV and bug out because of the daisy chain of sodomy and/or the many-headed mutant?

I wish I lived your life. Freaks and fuckin as far as the eye can see.

I read the first one as "Taglines can go to hell". It fits the title of the movie, at least.

The second one makes it sound like the movie is set in a tough place for taglines.

He died in 2006. Some Otherguy was strongly influenced by him, though.

Did they drop Rob Schneider? 'Cuz I seem to remember him being in the first one.

There were scheduling conflicts when they were filming, apparently.

Is it weird that this movie was filmed nearly a year ago and isn't going to be released for another couple of months? I wouldn't think they'd sit on something like this for so long.

Nah, you gotta realise it's not really as much a movie as it is a group activity everyone takes part of during Sandler's Lakeside Family Getaway 2012.

I just looked this up on IMDb and what the hell?

Written by David Zucker and Pat Proft (Hot Shots, The Naked Gun films, Police Academy) and it's directed by Malcolm D. Lee (Undercover Brother, Soul Men).

These people have talent, what are they doing working on a Scary Movie sequel?

Was it that Zucker that did that conservative comedy? I think it was called An American Carol in the US. Over here, it was called Big Important Movie or something insipid like that.

There's no excuse for 4, and 3 might have been the slow start of the 'gently caress coherency, let's just make references to everything' that Seltzer and Friedberg picked up and ran with, but 3's maybe the last quality parody movie that was made. I don't remember the aliens plot and the Ring ripoff gelling particularly well, but at the very least actual jokes were made.

I don't see Anna Faris on the poster and I believe Charlie Sheen's character died at the beginning of 4.

Of course, they could have called it Scary Movie: The Scariest or something like that.
