Just beat Dream Team Bros. It says it took me 40 hours!! Doesn't feel like it at all - I wonder if that's just because its a fantastic game, or maybe it counted all the time I left it in pause/sleep mode on the Home menu? Great ending, though. Lives up to the standards of the rest of the series. MAJOR SPOILERS: Really loved how they subverted my expectations of how the Antasma/Bowser union would end up - it was really great to see Bowser finally get a chance to be the final boss again, properly, without being possessed by something else. I actually cheered. Very Paper Mario, actually. So, to anyone on the fence: get it get it. Far better than both of the DS games. Less frustrating gameplay than Superstar Saga, but I still think nothing can beat the original's crazy plot.

So I'm playing Flower Town, because I went out to my husband's work thing and actually got street passes that weren't him. (I like Flower Town the best; I'm bad at shooters.) And I some point, I unlock the ability to plant a seed with someone. As in, I do this, and the flower might grow into their favorite color---whatever their Mii is wearing. So I picked a girl wearing black, cause black flowers are neat. And I plant the seed in the pot. And she whips out a baster and jams it in my pot and injects it. Y'all, I am pretty sure I just did lesbian gardening insemination.

How sensitive is the accelerometer on the 3DS? Could I say, leave it closed in a backpack while on the train and get a shitload of Play Coins?

You basically should just assume your 3DS is going to get 10/day unless you literally don't move. 1000 steps is like a walk around the block.

Speaking of play coins I'm getting pretty sick of every single nerd I streetpass having one room filled with Nintendo poo poo with the Mario wallpaper and floors. They're all basically identical because there's only so many ways you can arrange a room full of fire flowers and turtle shells. Get creative, nerds.

SMT4 doesn't have a PAL date at all, does it? NISA did date the AU release for Etrian Odyssey 4 the other day: September 5, and it's even priced reasonably ($43AUD).

I posted before about this, but I bought a used copy before I knew about the eShop credit deal (or registered a Club Nintendo account, if that makes any difference), and it didn't have a box or anything with it. Club Nintendo Japan have just thrown up a new reward - "THE YEAR OF LUIGI Sound Selection" - 50% off if you've registered Luigi's Mansion 2 / New Super Luigi U / Mario & Luigi Dream Adventure (forgotten the English name!) - I believe that the other soundtracks have made it to Club Nintendo US eventually so this may be something that some of you want to save up for.
